We found this en route from the carpark to Birr Castle, and we were very glad we did. A lovely little courtyard with a variety of outdoor seating under cover with light instrumental music playing. Good drinks as well.

Lovely little cafe with sheltered outdoor seating, friendly comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. Clean toilets, nicely decorated and plenty of seating. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed a lovely cappuccino here. The courtyard is quirky and welcoming. Super dog-friendly too! Excellent atmosphere and very friendly staff.
